Recently my train illustration has taken off a bit! I get several print requests and just a little while ago I got an amazing offer to sell my print as a one-off licence fee to a hospital!
My artwork will be printed with Roundtree VisualsΒ to be hung up in the Children’s Floor of the great Kaiser Oakland Hospital in California, USA. It is for a new wing that is being built and will be very prominent in the hallway leading up to an elevator. It will feature twice in 2 separate locations.
The final size will be coming in at a huge 6m long and I think it will become a great experience walking by and getting to enjoy each train cart as you go.
As the size is so large I had to increase my file immensely and clean it up a little too, so that everything will be sharp and clear in the final print. The finished tiff file was over 1GB large! I almost couldn’t fit it into my dropbox π
Here is how it will look like:
If I get some images once it has been printed I will show those too!
If I ever get to go to California, I think I might make the hospital a quick visit! π
Super stoked and really excited,
Ina
