I am soooooooo relieved that I have finally finished my very own classic Portfolio book! It is around a B4 format and clad in hot pink/magenta linen with a die cut circle to show the “Portfolio” cover page underneath. I have designed it in a style that leans on my website and business card with the same fonts and imagery but still stands a little on its own.
The cover page is a total custom lettering going from handdrawn through illustrator into the bright blue and pink final design. I drew some extra nautilus and snails and have replaced one if the “o’s” with one cheeky little snail as well. It was real fun designing it, however the colour combinations took me forever to decide 🙂
It is a post screw book so that I am flexible with my pages and can turn it from a design to an illustration portfolio within a few minutes.
I am happy with the look as I think it stands out but still has a classic basis in terms of format and layout. It is simplistic and and has still enough details to make it interesting.
This little beauty took a lot of time and effort and I am really happy to finally have it in my hands and ready to do its’ Â job!!
