I can finally show my work that is featured on the garments of Kylee Davis new season SS 12/13 and I am so excited! The images were printed on digitally or alternatively turned into a knit design that has been hand knitted into the garment. The work is of very high quality made with the best of New Zealand wool and yarn. Her collections come only in very small runs so when you buy one of her pieces you can be sure to have something truly special!
The designs I created were mainly derived from 2 main designs: the first is a cobra design that was either winding downwards or upwards into the back. It was mirrored to work on two opposite sides so that the cobras look at each other for maximum effect.
The other is a winding imaginary snake design which got placed into a circular pattern that is representing a flower shape and is reminiscent of a mandala. The flower also got repeated to work on a pant design.

This collection was a lot of fun to work on and I definitely would love to do something like this again.
